1. Pay attention to the following points during the operation of gas boilers:
(1) Gas boilers do not allow positive pressure combustion or furnace smoke injection, as it is easy to burn out the coal inlet cover;
(2) Water should not accumulate on the ground level at the bottom of the gas boiler to prevent moisture and corrosion.
2. Gas boilers should be inspected every 2-3 weeks of operation.
3. After every 3-6 months of operation, the gas boiler should be shut down for comprehensive inspection and maintenance: (1) Check the inside and outside of the gas boiler, such as the welds in the compressed parts and whether there is corrosion on the inside and outside of the steel plate. If serious defects are found, they should be repaired in a timely manner. If the defects are not serious, they should be repaired at the next shutdown. If suspicious areas are found but do not affect safety production, records should be made for future reference; (2) After inspection, boiler primer can be applied on the landing surface to prevent corrosion.
4. Gas boilers and boiler bases should be painted at least once a year.
5. There are two maintenance methods for gas boilers that are not used regularly: dry method and wet method. If the boiler is shut down for more than a month, dry maintenance method should be adopted. If the boiler is shut down for less than a month, wet maintenance method can be used.
(1) Dry maintenance method: After the boiler is shut down, drain the boiler water, thoroughly remove the internal dirt, rinse it clean, and dry it in the furnace with low heat (be careful not to use high heat). Then, pack the block shaped quicklime with a diameter of 10-30 millimeters in trays and place it in the drum. Do not let the quicklime come into contact with metals. The weight of quicklime is calculated based on the drum volume of 8 kilograms per cubic meter. Then, close all manhole and hand hole pipeline valves, and check every three months. If the quicklime ash is in a broken state, it needs to be replaced immediately. When the boiler is restarted, the quicklime and tray should be removed.
(2) Wet maintenance method: After the boiler is shut down, discharge the boiler water, thoroughly remove the internal dirt, rinse it clean, refill the treated water to full, heat the boiler water to 100 ℃, let the gas in the water discharge outside the furnace, and then close all valves. Wet maintenance method should not be used in cold climates to prevent the boiler water from freezing and damaging it.
