In the daily use of electric heating steam generators, if there is a failure to continue adding water and cannot be stopped, what should I do? 1. Check the connection stability of the water level detection line:

3. Probe function test:
A. To further determine the problem, perform the following tests: Unscrew the probe, remove the probe wire, and temporarily attach it to a metal (such as an iron part). Then turn on the power switch and observe the running state of the steam generator. (Note: This method must ensure that the water in the inner tank is above the water level gauge, otherwise it will cause damage to the heating pipe or even damage.)

b. If the addition of water stops after the lap, it indicates that there may be a problem with the probe itself, such as decreased sensitivity or damage, and it cannot accurately detect the water level in an environment that is not pure water.

c. If water continues to be added after bonding, there may be a fault pointing to the circuit board, resulting in incorrect interpretation of the probe signal.

4. Probe inspection and replacement:
Remove the probe and carefully inspect its surface for corrosion, wear, or other anomalies. Since pure water cannot be used, the probe may be more susceptible to impurities in the water quality.
After confirming that the probe is intact, an appropriate amount of raw material tape can be wrapped around its surface (taking care to avoid blocking the probe hole), and then it can be installed back in place. The use of raw material tape is designed to enhance the sealing of probe and water level detection hole, and minimize the influence of water quality on water level detection.

5. Consider water quality adaptation:
Since pure water is not available, it may be necessary to consider adjusting the water quality adaptability of the steam generator. For example, water quality pretreatment equipment such as filters or softeners can be installed to improve water quality and reduce corrosion and clogging of probes and equipment.
